Established in Shanghai in 2004 by Mr. Giovanni Pisacane, GWA has grown under his leadership and that of Co- Managing Partner Mr. Daniele Zibetti. Over time, the team was joined by Partner Mrs. Marta Snaidero, who leads the Tax Advisory & Accounting division, and Partner Mr. Filippo Sticconi, who oversees the Dispute Resolution Department. Together, they lead a multicultural team of more than 40 professionals across Europe, Asia and North America, combining legal, tax, and strategic expertise to support international businesses in their cross-border growth.

GWA today operates in 12 cities: Bangkok, Barcelona, Beijing, Bergamo, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Milan, New York, Shanghai, Singapore, and Tokyo. Four of these offices—Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Tokyo, and New York—were opened in the last five years as part of a measured growth strategy.
Bangkok | Active since 2022, GWA Bangkok was launched in partnership with Advising Asia. The office supports international companies entering the Thai market with tailored legal and tax advisory services.
Ho Chi Minh City | GWA’s presence in Vietnam is led by Partner Filippo Sticconi with support from Mr. Andrea Collenz. Here, our local team provides full market entry support, from partner scouting to due diligence, setup, sourcing, HR, and HSE compliance.
Tokyo | Our local branch in Japan focuses on regulatory compliance, market entry strategies, and support for broader cross-border operations.
New York – GWA Atlantic | In May 2025, we launched GWA Atlantic, powered by Gallant, our new entity in the United States. This marks our entry into the North American market and represents a significant step toward a globally integrated advisory model.
