PANETTERIA FERRERO ROBERTO

A bakery story rooted in Cuneo

Our bakery was founded in 1999 in the city of Cuneo, with the clear mission to offer high-quality products made with true artisanal care and deep attention to raw ingredients. This commitment was quickly recognized, and in 2001 we were awarded the Excellence in Artisan Craftsmanship of the Territory, a prestigious acknowledgment that confirmed the passion, dedication, and professionalism behind our work.

From that moment on, a journey began that would span more than twenty years, marked by continuous improvement, a constant search for quality, and a strong balance between innovation and tradition. Year after year, our goal has always been to grow while remaining faithful to the values that define authentic craftsmanship.

The year 2020 brought an unexpected and severe setback. The COVID-19 pandemic, the rise of smart working, and the prolonged closure of businesses deeply changed people’s daily habits and consumption patterns. In 2021, faced with this new reality, we made a difficult but necessary decision: to close some locations in the city and start again in Caraglio, on the outskirts of Cuneo.

Starting over was not easy, but one essential element never disappeared: our ambition to do things well. On the contrary, this moment became an opportunity to refocus our vision. We chose to narrow our range, concentrating even more on careful product research, local excellence, and authentic flavors rooted in tradition.

Unique products and a strong bond with the territory Today, our bakery stands out for its dedication to local ingredients, short supply chains, and the rediscovery of ancient dessert recipes, brought back to life with respect and passion. Among our most popular products are our pastries made with locally grown, zero-kilometer corn flour, a specialty for which we are the only producers. This product perfectly represents our philosophy: simplicity, authenticity, and a deep connection to the land.

Aflagship creation is the Torta Amara della Vallera, named after the small village where it was originally created. We are proud to be the sole producers of this cake, which has received the De.Co. (Municipal Designation), officially recognizing its uniqueness and its cultural and territorial value.

During the Christmas season, our offering is enriched by a carefully curated selection of artisanal panettoni, made following traditional methods, with slow natural leavening and carefully selected ingredients. Each panettone reflects our attention to detail and our respect for time-honored baking techniques.

Our story is one of passion, resilience, and love for the territory. Every day, these values take shape in the aroma of freshly baked bread, in desserts inspired by tradition, and in genuine products designed to tell our story.
