GWA ASIA: A Global Journey Built on Teamwork
More than two decades ago, I founded GWA Asia with a clear vision: to build a truly international legal and advisory firm capable of guiding companies across borders with clarity, competence, and cultural understanding. Over the years, that vision has become a daily reality and during this journey I am glad to have shared this vision with my partners Daniele Zibetti, Filippo Sticconi and Marta Snaidero.
Today, GWA supports corporations, investors, entrepreneurs, and institutions through integrated legal, tax, corporate, and strategic services. Our identity has been shaped by internationalization. Operating in China for over 22 years has given us a profound understanding of Asian markets, regulatory systems and operational challenges. From Shanghai to Suzhou and throughout Southeast Asia, we have accompanied Italian and European manufacturers, luxury brands, technology innovators, listed companies, and SMEs as they expanded into what were then emerging markets and are now among the world’s most competitive economies.
In the past year, this experience became more crucial than ever. While others reconsidered their regional footprint, we deepened ours. We consolidated our teams in China and opened new strategic desks across Asia, anticipating the regional shift in global supply chains. This expansion was possible only thanks to the constant and close coordinated work with my partners and the extraordinary commitment of our team.
Their dedication and shared vision allow us to act as one: one voice, one standard, one direction – making GWA a truly collective journey. At the same time, we have taken an important step toward a global platform: the opening of our New York office. The United States has become increasingly central to our clients’ strategies, whether European groups investing abroad or Asian companies seeking innovation, capital, and partnerships.
With New York, we can offer seamless support across three continents, ensuring proximity, responsiveness, and a unified professional standard. Looking ahead, my commitment remains unchanged: GWA must continue evolving while preserving the values that brought us here: independence, professional integrity, teamwork, and long-term client relationships. These values are our foundation. My pride today is less in our geographic spread and more in the collective spirit of our team that drives us forward every day. Our global journey continues, and we are ready for the next chapter.
