Nature, history and tradition in the heart of Tuscany
In 1967, Jader and Pierino acquired the land that would become the heart of their family’s dedication to the agricultural traditions of the Crete Senesi. Even today, with passion and respect for nature, we produce extra virgin olive oil, Chianti DOCG wines, Vinsanto, and Grappa, offering our guests an authentic and genuine experience of rural life in Tuscany.
Take leisurely walks among olive groves and vineyards, breathe in the fresh countryside air, and discover our Cellar-Museum where Graziano (Jader’s son), passionate photographer and collector of vintage items, will guide you through the history of local agriculture. Explore vintage photographs, historic tools, and learn about the landscapes that have shaped our family’s life for generations—a journey through time that goes far beyond a simple visit.
Throughout the year, guests are invited to participate in seasonal activities, such as olive and grape harvesting, pruning, and other traditional farming moments, experiencing firsthand the philosophy of slow tourism and life in harmony with nature. When it’s time to unwind, Tuscany’s most famous thermal baths are just a short drive away. Enjoy the free, natural Petriolo Hot Springs, or visit nearby spas like Bagni San Filippo, Bagno Vignoni, San Casciano dei Bagni, and Rapolano Terme.
Our strategic location also makes it easy to explore Tuscany’s cultural treasures: Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is only 15 minutes away, and within a short drive you can visit San Gimignano, Pienza, the Val d’Orcia, Montalcino, and Montepulciano. For a seaside escape, Castiglione della Pescaia and Follonica are just over an hour away, while Monte Amiata offers a refreshing mountain retreat.
