Tenuta Montemagno is in an old 16th-century estate, bordering on the edges of the Montemagno, Viarigi, Casorzo and Altavilla districts. We have revived the vineyards and all the surrounding croplands, with the desire to produce wines that will proudly represent Monferrato but, through our own interpretation, also leave the mark of innovation brought to the vineyards and cantina. This can happen thanks to the contribution of skilled technicians and oenologists with a lifetime of experience that work with us. Our dream – to produce and present to the market wines of top quality – is now coming true. The heart of Tenuta Montemagno is, of course, our winery. After caring for the vines and maturation of the grapes and organizing harvesting which is still done by hand in small wooden trays to prevent damage to the precious bunches, the winery is the magical theatre where grapes are transformed into D.O.C. and D.O.C.G. wines.Traditional processes are enhanced by modern technology in the accurate control of temperature. Bottling is done in a nitrogen environment to avoid the unnecessary use of sulphites and to guarantee the purity of our wines.
Gentle slopes covered with vineyards extend as far as the eye can see, flecked by ancient hamlets and imposing castles: our estate is the ideal place to stay for relaxing holidays, comforted by heart-warming landscapes, wine and food tasting enhanced by the rays of sunset, and menus studied to exalt local cuisine.
